06 Aug 3 Simple DIY Beauty Oils
Many beauty products these days are made up of petroleum derivatives and plastics. This is certainly the quickest way to smooth the skin and erase imperfections. These additives are also effective in giving beauty creams a luminous colour, a fluid texture whilst also cloaking their bad odour.
Nevertheless, they are all the same. These toxins and endocrine disruptors (products that change the hormonal balance) penetrate the skin and are soaked into the blood, and over time accumulate in the body, particularly in vital organs such as the liver, kidneys, pancreas as well as the brain. Worse still, they can even be transmitted by mothers to their foetuses, and thus transmissible to the following generations!
An organ like the brain, composed 70% of phospholipids, (fats), attracts toxins and has difficulty in getting rid of them once they have penetrated. In the long term, this accumulating effect can go a long way in explaining the increase of senile dementias, as well as other psychiatric problems, including agitation, anxiety, depression and Alzheimer’s disease, and even tumours.
So we have listed a number of DIY cosmetic beauty oils, free from petroleum derivatives and plastics, which you can use as a substitute!
