Two Delicious, Gourmet Facial Scrubs!

Exfoliation is the ideal beauty care when ridding the skin of its imperfections, which means saying goodbye to dead skin, stains, marks of fatigue, as well as a dull complexion. In a few minutes, you’re skin will be looking fresh, sharp, and will be more receptive to the care and masks that you will use later.

If you have not already done so, try to schedule a small exfoliation session once a week, preferably in the evening, before going to bed. The mechanical action of the exfoliation removes dead skin layers from the skin and thoroughly cleanses it. Why use it at the end of the day? It is precisely during the night, when your skin rests, that it benefits from the best care. For the body, where skin is less sensitive than the face, you can even carry out a scrub every three days, especially before important solar exposures or before waxing to avoid ingrown hairs.

Honey and Sugar Scrub # 1

Honey has many virtues: it is healing, moisturising and soothing and this scrub is very simple to make, consisting of a measure of sugar for a measure of honey. Mix well to obtain a homogenous paste and massage in small circular movements on both your face and body. Preferably use a thick or creamy honey that crystallizes easily. If you are looking for a more rigorous scrub to use on the body, you can use brown sugar.

Chocolate and Sweet Almond Scrub #2

Yup, you heard us right. This antioxidant scrub is an excellent facial beauty treatment. We recommend you to use this after a rough week, as it will help to rid the skin of any signs of fatigue and stress.

You will need one tablespoon of sweet almond oil, one tablespoon of caster sugar and eight squares of dark chocolate.

Gently start to melt the chocolate in a pot before pouring it into a small bowl and adding sweet almond oil. Afterwards, mix and pour the sugar gradually. Apply this warm mixture over the entire face using small circular movements. Leave for a few minutes on the skin and rinse with lukewarm water.

#Bonus Coffee Scrub

For those in a hurry, here comes a bonus coffee tonic scrub. Mix three spoons of ground coffee with your moisturising cream. Apply the scrub using slow, circular movements before rinsing your skin with cold water – you’ll feel like you have a brand new face.

Do not forget to apply a moisturising mask after these scrubs for perfect hydration!
